WILLIAM M. BOWEN

Of Counsel to the Firm

William M. Bowen was one of the founders of West, Bowen, Cooper, Beard & Smoot, which was formed in 1975 with John C. West, a former Governor of South Carolina and United States Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. He formerly engaged in general practice with strong concentration in real estate law, estate planning and administration, and trial practice in all Courts of General Jurisdiction and the Family Court. He now serves in an AOf Counsel@ role to the firm and shares his more than 50 years of experience with the attorneys and staff. He has earned an AV7 PreeminentJ Peer Review Rating by Martindale‑Hubbell7, the highest recognition possible in the legal industry for  professionalism and ethics.
