Drew A. Laughlin Drew Laughlin is now retired and serves as of‑counsel to the firm. Drew has practiced law on Hilton Head Island since 1977. Prior to co‑founding Laughlin & Bowen, P.A. with John Bowen in 1990, Drew was a member of the firms Bowen, Smoot & Laughlin; Qualey, Laughlin & Qualey, P.A.; and McNair Law Firm, P.A. Drew has dedicated a considerable portion of his practice to assisting and providing services for local small business owners from business filings, contracts, licensing, dispute resolution and litigation. Drew has a long history of community involvement. Drew served on the Hilton Head Island Town Council for seven years and as Former Mayor of the Town of Hilton Head Island (2010 B 2014). He has also served as a Beaufort County Magistrate Judge until 2024.
